Turbo Flip combines driving with spectacular acrobatics. Performing multiple rotations and landing safely creates an engaging gameplay loop.
Instead of driving on flat roads like in Street Escape, in this game you'll control a car traversing steep slopes and hurtling down winding roads like ribbons. You must utilize inertia to perform a series of spectacular flips in the air. Each successful flip earns you bonus money, allowing you to unlock new upgrades and conquer more challenging levels.
Collect money to upgrade your car. The upgrade system in Turbo Flip includes three main stats:
Speed: Increases the car's speed when accelerating. This stat helps the car reach higher speeds before descending slopes, creating more momentum for longer and higher jumps. When speed is upgraded, you can also more easily overcome steep slopes and access more difficult areas.
Flip Coins: This stat increases the bonus money earned for each flip. For example, in the image, the player is receiving +16 coins for each flip. Upgrading Flip Coins helps you earn money faster, unlocking other upgrades after just a few turns. If you're confident in your landing skills, this is one of the stats worth prioritizing.
Fuel: Increases the car's fuel capacity, allowing you to travel further before running out of gas. With more fuel, you'll have more opportunities to overcome slopes, perform more jumps, and earn more money in a single turn.
Your task is to control the car to overcome slopes, using the downhill momentum to propel the car into the air. While the car is airborne, perform as many flips as possible to earn more points, then land the car correctly to continue your journey.
Control the car with short bursts of acceleration by holding down the left mouse button. Release the mouse button to control the car's momentum.
When the car leaves the track, this is the time to earn points with aerial spins. To spin the car again, continue holding down the left mouse button or the spacebar.
Try to complete as many spins as possible before landing. The more consecutive flips you perform, the higher your score.
However, don't be greedy. If the car isn't back in the correct position before landing, a spectacular spin can cause the car to flip over and end the turn.
