However, achieving a high score is not easy. The food appears increasingly quickly and is interspersed with spoiled nuts or insects, requiring good reflexes and musicality.
As you progress through the levels, the bird will get to enjoy a wide variety of different foods. Each level features a different food item, such as green beans, pomegranate seeds, melons, grapes, and more, adding novelty and excitement for the player.
Birdie Bop features just one simple control. Click the mouse to make the bird dive straight down toward the rotating food item.
The most important factor is timing. Even a slight mistake can cause the bird to peck the wrong seed. Hitting a spoiled seed or an inedible object immediately ends the attempt. On the other hand, successfully pecking edible food allows the bird to continue its journey until every target is cleared and the next level is unlocked.
